Classic slightly spicy taste a perfect balance of taste. A great way to get that moist, seasoned chicken, you’ll never want to cook a chicken any other way. On the BBQ or in the oven. Our seasonings are prepared with the finest ingedients, natural blends of ’Herbs & Spices’ along with dried vegetables. Store dried seasoning blends in a Cool, Dry, Dark pantry or cupboard for longest shelf life.

Packaged in our original sealed pouches storage should be in cool (< 21 C or 70 F), dry (< 60% r.h.)area to provide a minimum shelf life without appreciable loss of flavour or functional characteristics.

BARBECUE BEER CAN CHICKEN
What you Need:
Contents of pouch of Beer Can chicken seasoning (3 tbsp)
1 – Grain fed, preferably free range chicken (about 2 kgs/ 4 lbs.)
355ml (12 oz.) can of beer (room temperature)
10 ml (2 tsp.) olive oil
45 ml (3 tbsp.) ketchup

What to do:
Use with our beer can chicken roaster

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes

Combine 30 ml (2 Tbsp.) Beer Can Chicken seasonings in a small mixing bowl with the olive oil. Set aside.
Remove giblets and the neck from the chicken.
Rub the chicken with the seasoning & oil mix, including under the skin, where you can lift it with your fingers, and inside cavity.
Open the can of beer and pour half into a glass for yourself.
Combine remaining 15 ml (1 tbsp.)
Beer Can Chicken seasoning with the ketchup and pour into the can half full of beer.
Make sure to pierce two more holes on top of the beer can.
Place beer can in a Gourmet du Village roaster (or other beer can roaster) then place chicken on top.Preheat grill.
Place bird on grill. Grill over indirect heat at medium for 1 1/2-2 hours until internal temperature of thigh is 82° C(180°F).
Remove chicken when finished cooking & let sit (with beer can still intact), for 10 minutes before carving.
Be careful when handling hot chicken, so as not to burn yourself.
