Slow cooked pork shoulder rubbed with our seasoning blend then served with our Beer BBQ Sauce. Served in a burger bun or sliders with fries. One of our most versatile blends. Store dried seasoning blends in a Cool, Dry, Dark pantry or cupboard for longest shelf life.
Packaged in our original sealed pouches storage should be in cool (< 21 C or 70 F), dry (< 60% r.h.)area to provide a minimum shelf life without appreciable loss of flavour or functional characteristics.

What you Need:
MAKES 10 LARGE BUNS OR 24 SLIDERS
2.3 kg (5lbs) pork shoulder, bone in (1.8kg or 4lbs bone out)
45 ml (3 tbsp) Gourmet du Village Seasoning
240 ml (1 cup) beer, preferably dark
1 bottle (350ml/11.8oz) Gourmet du Village Chipotle Maple Sauce
10 fresh buns, 24 mini slider buns
What to do:
Preheat oven to 350F (175C) or turn crockpot to high.
Generously rub the pork shoulder with the Pulled Pork Seasoning and place inside a roasting pan or slowcooker.
Pour beer over pork and cover for 4 hours turning once during cooking.
Pork is done when the meat flakes easily with a fork and the internal temperature is 170F (80C).
Remove from oven and let stand for 20 minutes.
Place pork on a cutting board and discard residual juices.
Using tongs and a fork pull the pork apart being careful to discard any fat or bones.
Add enough Gourmet du Village Maple Chipotle Sauce to moisten the meat.
Serve the heated meat on a fresh bun with extra sauce on the side, coleslaw and a pickle.
