The key to this recipe is to use partially cooked bacon.

Toss 12-16 large fresh or thawed scalops with 45 ml (3 tbsp) of oil and a pouch of Maple & Peppercorn Grilling Spices

Wrap each scallop with half a strip of bacon and skewer tightly.

Sear the scallops in a well-oiled pan, on medium for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden.
