Texas Beef Chili

What Texans call a bowl'o red, just beef using our intense Cheesy Nacho Dip spices. That's all folks!

Yields1 Serving
ALL YOU NEED
 8 oz (225 g) cubed stewing beef
 1 tsp (5 ml) flour
 2 tsp (10 ml) olive oil
 ¼ onion, chopped
 ¼ red bell pepper, chopped
 1/3 cup (80 ml) blond beer

Pre heat oven at 325 F(170 C).

Mix the Cheesy Nacho Seasoning with small amount of water to rehydrate in a small bowl.

Place the beef and flour in a small bowl and toss to coat the meat all over.

Heat the oil in a frying pan on medium-high and sear the beef on all sides for a total of 5 minutes.

Place the beef in a baker.

Lower the heat, sauté the onion and bell pepper for 1 minute. Add the spice paste, stirring and scraping the bottom for 30 seconds. Add the beer and heat to boiling; pour over beef.

Cover the baker, place it on a baking sheet to catch any spills. Bake for 2 hours until the meat is very tender.

Serve with a twist of lime and a handful of corn chips, if desired.
