Vegetarian Beer Chili

Spicy, flavourful, the best vegetarian chili ever made with our Chili Spices.


454 g (1 lb) ground veggie beef mix

3 tbsp Chili Seasoning Mix

60 ml (4 tbsp) tomato paste

250 ml (1 cup) lager type beer

1 can (796 ml/14 oz) diced tomatoes,

1 can (540 ml/19 oz) red kidney bean

1 can (540 ml/19 oz) black beans, drained & rinsed


1Lightly brown veggie beef in a large skillet or pot over high heat. Drain off any excess fat.

2Stir in Beer Chili Seasoning Mix & tomato paste. Stir until well combined.

3Add diced tomatoes & beer. Bring to boil.

4Reduce heat & simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5Add kidney beans, black beans. Simmer another 15 minutes.

6You may also add a drained can of corn kernals.

7Serve with toppings of sour cream, grated Jack or Cheddar cheese, guacamole, sliced green onions.

8Great with nachos or chunky bread.
