Smoked Salmon Cheese Ball

Our Salmon Dip Mix also makes a great Cheeseball, Perfect for guests, easy to prepare ahead and keep in the refrigerator.

ALL YOU NEED
 250 ml (8 oz) package cream cheese
 30 ml (2 tbsp) grated cheddar cheese
 120 gr (4 1/4 oz) smoked salmon
 Optional Coating: Sesame seeds, chopped nuts or poppy seeds

Soften cream cheese. Combine Salmon Dip mix, cream cheese and grated cheese in food processor or with an electric mixer and blend until all ingredients are well mixed together.

Gently stir in the salmon. Let Chill a bit until slightly hardened and easy to work with.

Form into a ball by emptying mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap, use the plastic wrap to form into a ball and place in refrigerator for minimum 1 hour.

Optional: Just before serving remove the ball from the refrigerator and coat the ball with sesame seeds, chopped nuts or poppy seeds with the help of the plastic wrap.

Serve with your favourite crackers or crusty baguette.
