Falafel Burger

Savor the fusion of Mediterranean flavors in every bite using our Falafel Seasoning to create a delightful Burger. Crispy falafel patties, bursting with chickpeas, herbs, and spices, nestled between toasted buns and topped with our Tzatziki Dip

Yields1 Serving
 12 g ½ pouch Falafel Seasoning
 25 oz 1½ cans chickpeas, drained & dried
 1 Large onion, chopped
 25 g (1 cup) fresh parsley, chopped
 2 Eggs (or ½ cup silken tofu)
 15 ml (1 tbsp) lemon juice
 15 g (1 tbsp) baking powder
 185 g (1 ½ cup) bread crumbs
 30 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
 6 Toasted buns
 Optional Tzatziki Dip
  Garnished with tomato, lettuce and onion.

In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion and parsley. Blend until smooth.

In a bowl, mix the eggs, Falafel Seasoning, baking power & lemon juice. Add the chickpea blend to the bowl and mix to combine. Slowly add the breadcrumbs and mix with your hands until you can form patties that hold their shape.

Form the mixture into 6-8 large burger patties.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry pan fry on medium heat 5-7 minutes each side, or until golden brown.

Enjoy your burger on a toasted bun, spread with our Tzatziki Dip, garnished with tomato, lettuce and onion.
